I'm posting these primarily for myself cuz i'm at my folks house, but I figured it'd be interesting to share with everyone who's interested in this sort of stuff.

Basically this is about the coming loss of oil field discovery. Discovery of oil fields around the world is set to peak in about a decade or so, according to these researchers. The info is based on what's called "Hubberts Peak"

Hubbert was a geologist who correctly predicted in the mid-50's(IIRC), that American oil field discovery would peak around 1970, and decline from there, and his bell curve has turned out to be correct in many instances.

The people who are talking about this are Professors of Geology, Independent Oil Consultants and Corporate Oil Researchers...

Many of the findings are published in Oil Industry magazines, and also news sites(ala: BBC, Newsweek, etc...) along with independent sites. Some of these independent sites take a more moderate approach to interpretation of the analysis, and some are catastrophic in their belief.
