I am now officially an anarchist again, and will be til the day I die. I'm sick of people getting rich off people like me when I try to do the right thing to prevent myself from getting ripped off, what the fuck happens? I get ripped off again.
OK, so I lost my checkbook. I thought it got stolen. I call and have a stop order placed on the series of checks that were in there. A couple weeks later, I find it in my glove compartment, it was then that I remembered I put it in there so it wouldn't get stolen while I had my jacket off at the bar. of course, who has a shitty memory? Me.
So, I call the Credit Union telling them to take off the stop order(I placed it by phone)... they wanted me to send a letter stating my wish for it to be removed, and sign the letter. Well guess who has a shitty memory? Me. So, guess who forgot to send that letter in? Me. Which means I wrote checks outta that book, thinking the stop order was removed. So, I got a call last night from Pick N Save and the lady told me that they got it returned. What was good is that she told me to send it directly to her(ie: ATTN: Laurie), and she wouldn't put on the $25 fee.
BUT! My landlords give me a fucking eviction notice today, and tell me to pay, but they're charging me 25 bucks for NSF and 25 for late fee. And I got another call from somewhere wanting 25 bucks... I have a few more checks from there, too. FUCK! This is complete bullshit. You can't have the system bend the rules at all, fuck no.
oh, well, i gotta go. Ann and I are heading to State Street Arcade. Her friend Julie wants to get bodypaints so we're gonna pick some up for her.
