This is funny, because it was on Mothers day, 1998 that I announced to my mother that I was no longer a xian.(such a bastard son, I am)
For those of you who don't know Madalyn, she was, as I was taught while growing up, the lady who pushed for removing prayer from schools, and was thus, of course, in league with Satan and an evil woman. She started the American Atheist foundation, and disappeared in '95 along with half a mil in funds from the group, and two of her children. A note said they would be away temporarily. Later, it was found out that an ex-con who worked at the offices had forced her to withdraw the money and killed them. He led the cops to their bodies, buried on a "remote Texas ranch"
