This is an image from a building that protestors were sleeping in. They were raided by Italian police who beat the protestors quite severely. This is the aftermath. These were not people in the process of protesting, they were sleeping. Some reports say they were beaten in their sleeping bags, but this is unconfirmed. The photo, however, shows how nasty this is...

Also, there were representatives of the D.C. police in Italy to learn "tactics" from Italian police. If this happens in America there WILL be full scale riots. There'll be a protest at the IMF/World Bank meeting in D.C. later this year.
