If i had a daughter I would name her Indigo.

I would love Psyche or Fire as a middle name.

It's sad that we're so unable to deviate from some bullshit norm out of fear of "difference" Had I the name Indigo growing up, I think I would've loved it. I know we had a girl with the last name Moon(changed later after her mom remarried, I believe)... I always loved that name. There was also a girl name Krystal Waters that I went to school with(and hung out with in the early years up to maybe 1st and 2nd grade I think)

I also like Gaia Matrix, but that may be a little too out there, I know.

only if you home-school.

Funny, I met an Indigo. Petulant boy child of some woman from one of the northern, richer towns came into my library to use the computer, demanded extra computer time to exchange nasty emails with her ex-in-progress while she let her bored, hungry brat kick (literally) around the place unattended til rather too late in the evening. She also sneered at the fact that we had a (fairly ineffectual) security guard. 'They didn't NEED one up in Richtown library.' Well, they're also not open very late, are they, princess. (I didn't shoulder-surf her email intentionally, I never would - she asked me for help with something and all the effing grabbed my eye for a second.)

Even in whatever flavor of northamherstshire I bet that kid gets kidney-punched over the name. Also, he had red hair, which probably worsens things exponentially.

One of my favorite names growing up was this one girl's...Chickory Krish. She was a neat as her name too.

I've always loved the name Mildelerion. I heard it when I was 19 and working at a large facility for kids with disabilities. I am thinking that, should my future child-making-cohort agree, Aria/ Arianna Mildelerion or Mildelerion Aria/ Arianna (can't decide which I like better for the Aria part, but it makes sense, being that it's Italian for "Love Song," and a child should definitely be made from love, ya know?) would be a lovely name.

I also like the name Lowell for a boy. It was my uncle's name, but it's nice and unusual.

Gaia would be a great name. It's the Matrix part I object to.
I've always loved having an unusual middle name, and have often wondered what it would have been like if my parents had given it to me a first name, as they'd toyed with. But I love my first name, too. :)
