Quite a few fans were notably upset when the Area:One tent was closed prematurely just before Paul Oakenfold was set to spin records on Monday night (July 16) at Jones Beach Amphitheater in Wantagh, New York. Following the Orb's performance, the lights went on in the tent, and it was announced that Oakenfold wouldn't be performing.
According to those in the Oakenfold camp, his records were left behind, but he couldn't retrieve them in time to perform his set. Some fans came just to see him spin and vowed to get their money back.

OK, So it's Paul Oakenfold. One of the most famous DJ's in the world(I won't put in hyperbolous statements that claim he's the greatest or anything, like some would)... but still. If you're so great, how the FUCK could you forget your records? It's like losing an arm. Or something like that. The records are part of you. They become you. Sad.
