I LOVE how Menominee Co. in WI has Kerry by 83 to 17, and Dane has Kerry 67 to 32...

Yet Dane is supposed to be sooooo liberal(and it is compared to a lot of the state), but for some strange reason, Menominee, out in BFE is way tilted to Kerry, compared to the surrounding areas, which are all Republican.

It's just a little odd. I wonder if there's just a lot of people that got laid off from a factory, or if there's something else happening up there...

Menominee County was created from the Menominee reservation back in the '60s. Almost 90% of the residents are American Indian. Though the American Indian vote does not necessarily lean Democrat nationwide, it appears it does here in WI.
