I have such virulent reactions towards the European colonization of the US. I don't know why. There's just something in my blood that boils when I think about it. I get pissed about a lot of things, but this is one of the biggest. I think it's because we pretend like it wasn't really a big deal, we ignore what we fucking did. And the bigotted, blind racism of Casino's and the attendant "Time to make my donation" quips... And the rednecks pissed that Indians have a special claim for hunting the land over the fucking white-ass bastards who took the land in the first place. And we bring alcohol and pox infested blankets and addict them, and infect them. Yeah, I get pissed.
And I know there's a lot of other horrible things, but again, I don't know why, but I have a special bond to this issue.
