looking at a website that Brad just showed me and it had an image, i just dragged my mouse, and saw the image moving... i dragged the shrunken, faded replica of the image to the desktop after i thought to myself: I bet I can just drag it and it'll save.

sure as shit, that's what it did. that's intuitive. i'm sure it's little things like that that'll have me be a mac zealot eventually. i did say "eventually"... i think after I get it upgraded i'll be a little more excited.

there are so many people i've neglected and i've been really depressed today and just feel like shit about that. i feel a lot better, but that's really because it's night.

i think i suffer from delayed sleep phase syndrome.

yes, it IS a condition. and I'm almost positive i have it. blah.

we're gonna get digital cable, cuz charter is an asshole and somehow disconnected our expanded basic(which we were getting for free), so now, it's cheaper to get digital with hbo and cinemax and showtime and all the other movie and music, and on-demand channels, and noggin and bbc-america and all that for only a few bucks more than what we'd be paying for plain expanded basic.

eh.

not much else happening. heard of the "diaper-free philosophy" this weekend from Ann's hippie cousin's wife. looked it up.. it's interesting.

fyi, Win XP has the same feature of drag image and drop to desktop - I just tried it on your livejournal image and it worked. :)

Here's one, open Safari and drag a link from a page into the bookmarks bar. I've always loved that one. Wait till you start customizing your toolbars. :D

And then there's stupid shit built in like taking a screen cap of a window and having copy to the clipboard. That's the easy key combo of CMD-CTRL-SHIFT-4-SPACE-Mouse Click. :/
