getting bittorrent, and also plan on getting mamex(or is it xmame?) anyways, whatever i can get to use for my mame roms. i believe I had the foresight to compile the joystick option into the kernel.
i have kaboodle up and running for my kde desktop, and that seems to run my wmvs and movs just fine, so I figure hopefully xvids will be able to be viewed as well.
things are up and running quite well now.
I've also noticed that the Linux IP stack must be much more efficient than windows.
I'm hitting easily 350 KBps, which is what... 2.8 Mbps?, sometimes, I'm getting 400 or higher KBps, which is like 3.2 Mbps.
Windows maybe gets 2.4 Mbps max... It seems to usually hit about 1.6-2.2 on average.
When they start charging for this, I'm gonna be hurting. ouch.
