Everyone that was in the AKDJ community, I'm thinking of shutting it down, but I don't want to remove it until/unless you guys wanted to get some info from there, maybe if there's some records of posts you wanna keep for your personal use, if you all don't care, please let me know. I won't touch it until I get an okay from all of you who posted(mostly, this means Sarah, Denis, Karrie, and Marcus)

Date: 2004-05-09 10:08 pm (UTC)i know you're not very busy on lj much anymore. i know that there are some people who have asked me to join a long time back, but because it's been dead, i let them know that.
i don't know if you can or not, but would you want to be the maintainer if you wanted to get it going again. actually one of the reasons i didn't wanna just delete it was because i know that you were the impetus of the group, and so i see it, in a sense, as your baby, even though i was the "maintainter"(yeah, real good maintenence...)
i dunno. it's just weird getting requests to join a community that's defunct, and i like to have a fairly clean friends list.
i'm gonna wait to hear from everyone else, but i wanted to see what you thought about perhaps taking the reins, or somehow keeping it intact.

Date: 2004-05-11 04:50 am (UTC)i always liked that community, maybe there just weren't enough members to keep the ball rolling.
Have you ever considered making it an open community?
That would most certainly allow for the novelty which can occur when random people are interacting.
