marilyn's charm for me and i think for many others isn't about her talent as an actress or her sexiness. though, at the same time, i'm very much not saying she was untalented or untalented. she was just this hungry little girl who got the fame she desired and it couldn't save her. she was in the public eye but still treated like crap, and i think there's a lot of interest in that sort of thing. for me, i identify with her far more than i should and i know a few other people who do and its her blatant humanity that makes her so popular, i think.
