I was thinking the other day and realized that I have 4 albums that are my favorite rock albums of the 90s.
They are the cream of the crop IMO, and unfortunately, I have to admit, I stopped really caring about rock between 95-97 or so, so maybe i'm missing something.
and it's just my personal opinion. if there's any that should be on here, feel free to add your opinion in a comment.
(these are in no particular order)
1. Tool - Aenima
2. Faith No More - Angel Dust
3. Radiohead - OK Computer
4. Nirvana - In Utero
Now, I have to say, I'm really torn between all the nirvana albums(rather, official LPs I should say), I think I go with In Utero, followed by Bleach(but is that really the 90s?) and then Nevermind. I suppose you could count Incesticide, but that doesn't rank as high on my list as the LPs... It's good, don't get me wrong.
I think, I'm really thinking in terms, not only of the music itself, but the production values of the albums. The fullness and richness and depth of all these albums, the power and strength behind all four is amazing. So much damn good *chunk-chunk-chunkiness*
