I found Acyron, Acyrologia, Hypallage, Metonymy, metalepsis, synecdoche, etc...

Interesting terms.

I like Metonymy.

Monotony Metonomy Autonomy.

Ah, synecdoche. My favourite term from English class.

No one but English professors actually use these words, and I sure as hell don't remember what they mean. Are they useless? Are they self-reflexively superfluous?

No! They may be esoteric, but definitely sonorous.
