So, I'm going through my spam, and a couple interesting things are there.
One is some strange Javascript code(of course, not executed) the message said "click the attachment!" Uh, no. But yahoomail shows the code, and I didn't take the time to try to figure it out, but it was a fairly large multidimensional array, and it had things like assigning various names to it, in some self-referential way. The names were things like hoover, Guam, Musket Tinkles, etc...
Strange code. Even if I did take time to attempt to figure it out, I still probably wouldn't have fully understood what it does.
2) Some dude signed the message with: Apunno paye yan
So I do a search, and it's the Ainu term for "Goodbye" Ainu, for those who aren't familiar with them, are the aboriginal people of japan, who tend to be congregated on the island of Hokkaido(the large northern island), and are more caucasian in appearance. Who we think of Japanese today were actually invaders, most likely from the Korean continent(IIRC) I just thought it odd that someone signed with an ainu phrase.

Date: 2004-02-07 05:03 am (UTC)we just learned about the ainu last semester in Eastern Religion, very interesting. My professor told us they are really repressed, like the aboriginals in australia. I had never heard of them before.
& my spam is always filled with penis enlarger pumps & viagra offers. no creativity at all.
