symbioidljmmmm, i'm gonna listen to me some art bell online tonight. i've never really listened to the guy. i think i wanna laugh. HAHA!!!!

Also, saw Nobukazu Takemura and Tortoise tonight... Great show! Opened with some guy doing laptop tomfoolery from the sound "booth"(just a large mixer in the center of the seating area), then Nobukazu came on. He was good, but it was too short. The first guy also played some angelicly sounding ambient. very beautiful and spacey. eternal, kinda.
ok, so after nobukazu, tortoise came on and they were fucking good!!! It was a strange audience, apparently(though I didn't see), there were a lot of younger kids and like adults and stuff, too. One of the guys is originally from Madison, so he was kinda returning home. The marimba playing was fucking awesome! and I will say that the drumming was very very good. Overall, everything was good. Seemed to have more of a rocky/jazzy feel than much electronic sound. They did have a clavia nord lead 2, which was sweet to see. Though they used it pretty traditionally. I want the nord lead 3. But I'll wait.

So I realized with my music that I need to make dark-ambient type stuff. It's what comes naturally. I'm not good with rhythm, and I know people appreciate ambient, so why should I try to make something with beat if it isn't natural? Why not do something that people will appreciate. I would like to experiment with beat, but until I get that down well, I will just release ambient type stuff.
hrrmmm...
That's about it. Day 2 of my diet begins today... when I wake up... mm...mmm... It was actually not bad today. I'm a little hungry now, but not too much. Maybe I'll have some waffles tomorrow for breakfast, or cheerios. And some grapes. Then tomorrow for lunch I think I'm having some sort of lasagna thingy, along with maybe some plums and some greens salad.
Well, i'm gonna go. Hopefully tomorrow I can exercise.
Tomorrow I also get to see Rosemary!!! Yeah!!! I'm so excited.
Art bell isn't on right now, it's the fucking USA radio network news. grrr... I think I wanna try to go to bed early(ier...?)
