So I did experience a mild MDMA like erotic physiological effects, and thy have subsided for the most part. But along with the physiological effects, I tended to notice something else. There was a much enhanced appreciation for erotica AS erotica. For beauty as beauty. Not as sex.
I began to think of hirsute women and why I love the hirsute woman as an ideal.
These thoughts quickly fade from mind.
fire, from the power of the sun, condenses into atmosphere, air, and solidifies into aqeuous solutions, water, and into rock. And tiny, particulate matter, formed form the matrix of rock arises, and congeals in the fluids of the water, dripping, oozing primal sensual sexuality, creativity. The logic of hte DNA bubbles up through the earth, solids, to water, and forms tiny creatures who, evolving move ever onward into land, and then air. And soon, we shall evolve ever towards the fire of the suns once more.
Throughout , there is always the pattern of cycle, the pattern of the elements repeating themselves, in both yin and yang ways. Stone, the lifeless, becomes animated through electric fire, shaped into thin wires, conduits through which this very same electricity flows, the electricity of life, consciousness thought brain emerges, the fire into stone, the animation into the core matrix of physiological being.
The modern world has so far believe in the need for a substrate matter, a matrix upon which to build a foundation. Terence McKenna, I'm not sure what he believes. Does he think we are merely moving away from earth? Is this a post-physiological evolution? The involution of soul into being the prima materia, and the substrate of matter being that which animates the soul, instead of vice-versa?
Long strange tunnels, birth canals.
Visions, twisted, holy, surreal.
History is marked by tunnels, the birth canal, the suez canal, the ever finer demarcation of past and future, the canal as history process, shaped by invisible forces, shaped by the shockwave of its own occurrence, the feedback mechanism of alpha and omega leading it to form a self unified whole beyond mere linear time.
What is the eschaton? That, isn't it, what they are asking about the matrix? The matrix is that which is beyond our ordinary ken.
The vision occurred to me today. The higher dimensions exist, but are invisible, in the same way, that imagine: You are in a corridor, looking down, and below you is a gurney with someone on it who is being taken to another room. The dimension not seen is as if the body is moved beyond that door. We cannot see it from our vantage point(above the door, looking down), but should we change our angle, our perception and perspective changes. We then see the evolution, the movement beyond this single corridor into another.
It's similar to the episode of star-trek(TNG) where they encounter 2 dimensional creatures. They had no clue what was happening until they learned to shift from 3 dimensions and realize that their vision was occluded by that barrier, that wall of dimensional limits. Once they were able to shift their angle of perspective, they could see the creatures floating in their two-dimensional glory(see, the 2d creatures only have height width, no depth...) Such is our three dimensionality of existence. We live in a larger higher-dimensional matrix, but our vision is occluded by the fundamental biological restraints placed upon us by evolution. That of survival.
We have moved beyond that, yet our thinking is firmly enmeshed in that of evolution as competition. Most biologists would agree that ultimately, it's a combination of co-operation and competition that is required for a good healthy evolution. But too often, there lines are demarcated, and individuals inherent the dualist manichaeism that forces them into "competition" (those social darwinists who seem to have won the day, and game theory shows that once people tend to understand game theory, behave in a selfish manner themselves), then there is the utopian idealist of "co-operation" that thinks that we can achieve something greater by working together, and all differences are superficial if only we'd work for the common cause.
The question becomes. Who defines that common cause? There is no pure utopia.
I believe I'm trying to understand, in my life, what I call synthesism(which unfortunately, as a phrase, has already been taken, and not necessarily by the same sort of thought process)
Shit, I may as well go on about it here:

Date: 2003-04-19 09:22 pm (UTC)as I am delving into it now in rudolf steiner's book
'the forth dimension' very difficult stuff for me to
understand...but he was using cubes to explain this
and he does show some pictures but he goes so in depth(for
me) that I'm still stuck at trying to figure out the
geometry of it. he's talking about points and planes and
height width depth and tesseracts (spell) and such...
I'd like to eat some shrooms and then re-read a few chapters,
it may help.

This is all tied to dimensionality, and such.
I have never sent that book on hyperdimensional beings have I? It's not the best, but it is a more laymans book, so it's easier to digest. However, I found it pretty repetitive. I'll send it to you if you wanna see maybe an easier introduction. I'm sure the book you're reading now is much more in depth, however.
