Keep saying. Come on... keep saying those two magic little fucking words. It's the latest thing that everyone is saying. I don't know if they're even aware of it.

"Whatnot" I HATE that fucking phrase. And now, everyone. I mean everyone!!!!!!!!!!!! is saying it.

FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh no... i know it's been around, I mean, it's like this meme that's spreading. I hate it, I think, because actually, back in 98 or so, when I started my new job, the guy that trained me in said "whatnot" in this really fucking annoying nasally voice. And everytime I hear the word, I hear it in his voice. And it drives me nuts! If I never had that experience, I probably wouldn't give two shits.

Oh, about the Open Source book. Alas: I gave it to my nephew for Christmas to try to get him into the concepts and open up his thinking on computers and shit. So, I don't have it anymore. I would, however, still like to check out that movie at some point.

I have mixed thoughts on RMS personally. Like I admire his principles, but think, sometimes, he's just a little tooooooooo hardcore. But he does have integrity.

Anyways, Umm. later. and whatnot. :)

I agree about RMS. He just got a bit crazy sometimes. I could see the others rolling their eyes when around him. The funniest part of the docu was when Linus presented RMS with the first annual Linus Trivolds award for something or other, and RMS was quite insulted and went up and said some snide remarks. I mean, he did have a point in certain respects, but he could have just grumbled thank you and been on his way.

No prob about the book. I'll still lend you the movie. ;)

Dude, you said it in one of your posts not too long ago. That was the beginning, actually, of when I noticed people saying it. And now, really, I don't know, maybe you have different friends on LJ, but seriously, there are soooooooooooooooo many people that say it. gah!

Umm. have Zelda, god I love it. The level design isn't too bad, but it is a little convoluted. However, I think it's far far far superior to both Mario Sunshine, and Zelda 64. I'm actually having more fun than I did with Metroid. I have to admit, it's a lot of eye-candy, and I just can't believe how beautiful it is.

I remember hearing it when I started working at Baylake Bank. This one teller there said it all the time. Annette told me when we started dating that I said it a lot, but I never noticed it. I don't think i say it as much, but obviously I still do.

As for Zelda, I haven't had a lot of time to get into it, but so far it's good. The visuals are great, but there are areas to it that piss me off. Just things I don't know wtf is going on. Annette and I rented Mario Party last night, and damn that's a fun game. I can only imagine playing 4 player. We have some people coming over tonight to chill so we were thinking of going to buy a couple more controllers just to play 4 player. We'll see though.

I am with you on that one.

I have a friend who uses it in nearly every sentence
it's always "and whatnot"... even when explaining something that is.
