LogJam running now :)
Fucking this Mozilla and KDE popup shit though pisses me off. I keep trying to verify whether or not popups will be blocked by turning off options, and going to these pop-up block test pages, but they keep popping up. Even in Galleon the pop-ups happen. WTF? *sigh* I'll keep struggling til I find out.
I must say, though, that the package manager is damn fine. The older ones just seemed to be a big pain in the ass, but I found everything I needed to install LogJam(which I manually installed on 8.2(ie: compiled gtk-2.0, libcurl, etc...) It was still just a teensy bit tricky(ie: had to find certain libs that weren't installed, or named exactly as pkgconfig said was missing), but it wasn't too difficult, and especially not compared to last time. I have to admit, I do like building things myself, but I hate having to set "PKG_CONFIG_PATH" all the time by hand. The rpms do this automatically, so i don't mind wimping out like that. :P

Date: 2003-03-31 12:21 am (UTC)move or resize windows, raise or lower... But now, there's a separate option in privacy and security that has a pop-up section on it's own. It's more advanced in that you can filter pop-ups, so that some sites that you may want a pop-up to display, can be let through...
It just took a while, because I couldn't find the docs on that.
The thing that's bugging me now is the "personal" toolbar folder, but I have a feeling that it's something with the way the program was initially configured, and I need to figure out how to fix that(ie: it's not using a standard version of the bin)
Glad to see you're back up.
Tony's been playing Zelda a lot, I guess(as much as possible), and I'm finally on fucking Metroid Prime... I need to find one more energy tank to assure my complete dominance over the biyatch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dude, that is one of the coolest final bosses I've yet seen, methinks.
