should i get a dec alpha someday? how 'bout a sun sparcstation? an sgi ozone?

Just some shit to fuck with. I'm sure it'd be a pain in the arse, but it'd be fun to fuck with that shit. Just curious if any of my geek friends think these would be fun.

i have a sun ultra that i might be willing to sell you pretty cheap. i don t use it anymore.

it is fun to fuck with. i also had an sgi indy, but i got rid of that when i moved. i miss my sun dearly (pharos, he was called), but with no dedicated pipe, and not a lot of extra space, and all the moving, i had to leave him at my parents to gather dust.

true. For some reason, though, I'm an obsolete hardware... well, I wouldn't say junkie, but I like having that shit... Of course, yeah, a 350 mhz machine isn't gonna do much for me, especially if I wanna do anything worthwhile... I've got my Athlon for that. :)

Good point, ultimately. I guess, mostly, I just like to tinker. And while it's still a *NIX box, since it's different hardware, it's something different to learn. One could argue "what's the point of learning it, since it's obsolete?" But then again, why believe in xianity, it's pretty obsolete. Oh wait, most of my friends would agree with that. ;) Bad example.

I would definitely not wanna pay too much money, however.

And I think when I said Ozone, I was thinking one of those Octanes from like 95 or something. I think Ozone is a graphics card or something.
