hmmph... So i wake up this morning after re-installing linux, cuz I can't get glib-2 correctly configured. And i figured that I completely fucked everything else up along the way whilst trying to install it, so I just reinstalled linux. It was fine, and I went to bed. However, now for some reason, my USB port is all fux0red up...(I can't believe I just said fux0red... shoot me now) Anyways, windows detected the mouse, but then froze after a short while. I plugged my mouse into many different USB ports, just in case it was one. And it still wasn't working properly(Linux won't detect it at all, even when doing a fresh install), and M$ still locked up. I took Rosemary's USB-PS/2 adapter, and tried that, and sure as shit, the mouse works. So something is completely fucked with all my USB adapters, but I've no clue why or how. I looked at the BIOS, and there was nothing fucked up there.

Why do I have such shit luck with computers. Maybe I'm too fucking stupid for linux. Maybe I should only use linux on a separate machine from my main one. sigh. I'm pissed. I'm sad. Now I have to buy a damn adapter that I can't really afford. But whatever.
