Sorry for all these big pics, but I'm just trying to post some decent sized ones for you to get an idea of the size of the crowd. I definitely think there were a couple thousand people there. There' all going way to the back of the street. It's state street, and it's a long corridor of a street.

Unfortunately, due to yesterday, I can just about guarantee not much national coverage on this because - sad as it is - they'll milk yesterday's tragedy for all it's worth. However, by putting the links up to the pictures - and the fact that they put this up on indymedia - it'll help to spread the word around.

The biggest problem I see now though, is what will probably be a large jump in support for the Iraqi war, simply because of the reports coming out of Iraq calling the Columbia disintegration 'God's vengenance'. I mean hell, I want to bomb the fuck out of them for saying that (but don't worry, I'm still against the war!:) ). Amazing fucking pictures, too. To see how far back it goes on State Street, and I'm sure it wrapped all the way around the capitol - it's just another reason to love that town. Same pull in people there as it was here, the nationally organized march.
