At heart is a dispute over whether X-Men character toys are considered "dolls"(ie: human) or toys(ie: non-human)... Due to tarriffs levied depending on the nature of the toys. It's just funny to read this, and realize that we had government lawyers, and a judge, and corporate representatives, debating on whether, say, Wolverine(the character, not the animal), is human or not.
Sounds like some debates my friends and I would've had back in the day.
