So, I saw a comment by someone on mefi saying they thought for sure Kerry was a shoe-in in 2004, and I thought "Umm, are you serious? Because that guy has no fucking charisma, dead as a doornail, no passion. You think he'll get middle american votes?" Then I realized that Obama has the whole charisma thing down, and that, more than anything else, is why he's doing so well, I think...

Of course, Kerry also lost because half of America really IS that stupid.
