symbioidljAfter a long period of not working on my web page, I've decided to try and get apache running again, along with mySQL and PHP to make sure it's all configured right. Well damn it if my mandrake install didn't set it up all perfect. I'm excited. It took me a while to figure out how to configure my music database again(not too long, maybe a half hour or so)... It was easier to use the command line than the sql client i have... Now I can finally add my latest entries(like 3 - 6... i forgot when i last updated, and of course, I gotta get the new Beck album, basing my judgement both on my appreciation of Becks' skills, and the praise given by

So tonight is Mr. Show. Excited about that, of course! Live. Man, that's fucking crazy, I never thought five years ago that I'd actually be going to see it in person. 6 years ago, I'd be seeing it in person.(I think it's been six since it first aired)... I've watched it since the first season. Anyways, umm, gotta go do laundry, and clean up. We're also gonna watch the new Neon Genesis movie today, so that should kick ass.
And seriously, one of these fucking days, I'm gonna take time to write some fucking e-mails. *sigh*
New album suggestions: Murcof "Martes"; Manitoba "Start Breaking My Heart" - Get these two albums kids and you will NOT be let down. I know for a fact that ambient fusion and suki and keymyek will all totally dig it. Suki and Key... I believe, IIRC, that Manitoba is related(not genealogically-speaking) somehow to fourtet... So you'll probably dig it. Jazzy/minimalist/experimental/post-rock electronica or something like that... Murcof is part of the Nortec Collective. This album is kinda like electronic symphonic music. Not in the Wendy Carlos way... Sampled strings mixed with IDM, very haunting, very beautiful.
I think I may put up an album review section on my website at some point.
