I'm hoping someone on my list can give me an answer to this question. We were just at the video store, and saw BoogiePop Phantom, and it looked interesting, so I looked it up on line and it sounds right up my fucking alley, since I LOVE Neon Genesis and Lain. Fragmentary, Dark, Thought Provoking(the review said "More thinking than entertainment" and that's how I love my anime) Anyways, has anyone seen this? I'd be curious if any of you recommend it and if so how you would rate it. I saw another one, Kuragone Communication, and it looked interesting... Any info? And finally: Escaflowne?

OK, thanks for any reviews or info in advance.

boogiepop is probably safe from what I know of it....but I haven't seen it. It's a tad old for the online groups I get my anime from. I've got the first episode of kurogane communication. I liked it, it's very subdued, but what would you expect from a story about the last girl on earth? If you like that one I'd suggest finding Yokohama shopping log as well. Verrry odd show.

My personal favorite of the new stuff I've been getting lately is Witch Hunter Robin it's kind of a cross between Hellsing and the X-Files (when it didn't suck). If you haven't seen Hellsing and you like a little gore with your vampires then see it.
