symbioidljWorked Friday, got off, deposited my check(I think it was Friday), went to borders picked up a comic called Warlands: Darklyte. A compilation of a mini-series. From an Image artist/writer. I have mixed thoughts on Image comics. In some ways I like it. I mean, I think Jim Lee was my favorite comic artist for a while. But I think I"ve matured. Characters are fine and all, but I prefer art that really opens up to vast spaces and gives you a sense of being there. Most Image artwork is devoid of that. But I do love the characterization. I hated DC comics for the longest time, because their artwork seemed so 1970s, even in the 90s. You can say story story story, but it needs to be a good balance. All story with shitty art makes a bad comic, and all Art with shitty story does likewise.
Anyways, went to find more info on Darklands and I found out that there is a new TRANSFORMERS: GENERATION 1 series out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, kids, that's right. And the transformers look cool as fuck. Seriously. There's nothing but the original group, from what I understand. And the stories are sure to rock.
They've also brought back G.I. Joe, and I want to get it, but I put off the purchase to get Akira Vol. 1.
Picked up Miss Kittin and The Hacker, a pretty decent CD. I kinda dig the whole sexy vocals and basic kinda techno/ebm(??? perhaps)/tech-house sound. Definitely porno-music. :) Also, Phoenicia - Brownout. Tres cool!
Haven't done much all day but work.(I haven't had a day this past week without any work. Saturday and Today I worked. Each day, really only a few hours, but still... At least it'll fatten the paycheck! woot!

Yuko wrote to Tony and he's supposed to send me the letter, cuz it's not displaying on his dreamcast(I'm assuming she wrote some hiragana/katakana to him). But he hasn't yet. hopefully he will soon, cuz she supposedly has some exciting news. I'll try to write to her again.
And my friend Denyel. I've been thinking of writing her, and have been putting it off, and I had a dream about her last night, so I must write very soon.
