so i ate biscuits and gravy at denny's today(along with mozz sticks...) yeah, yeah, dumb thing. and it had meat, and i should've known better.

my gut started feeling a little wonky a couple hours ago, then kept feeling like I had to go to the bathroom, or puke... eventually, i had to puke. and it was not pretty. not the worst I've ever had, mind you... but certainly not a pleasant experience.

strangely, i was thinking about puking, and just so repulsed by it, then started to think that there are a lot of sick fucks out there, and wondered: Do some people have a puking fetish? if so, that is probably one of the absolute grossest things i can think of.

anyways, i've learned my lesson. i will no longer eat any meat again. rosemary cautioned me... in fact, basically said I was going to pay for it. And I knew she was right, but didn't think it would be that bad.

at least our bathroom floor is a lot cleaner than it's been in a while(due to cleaning up splashage)

sorry, this was a gross entry. but now you know my day.

it's a good thing i didn't get ahold of any mushrooms, cuz then i'd be completely fucked. although, i never would've eaten the meat had I known i was going to get ahold of some...

Does that white gravy they serve with biscuits in hillbilly cuisine have any meat in it? Or is it more like a bechamel sauce?

Actually it has ground sausage in it. I think it's basically just sausage fat, flour, milk, and seasoning.

I didn't know you were vegetarian. I started putting some tasty recipes here. (http://www.share-foo.com/recipes/browse.php?browse=br_recipe&)

The garbanzo bean curry is friggen awesome. I made it again last night. It rocks the hizzouse G.

As far as green chillies go, I was using the short thin ones that were about 2 inches by 3/8 inch diameter. Actually I think it was these, (http://www.awesome-chef-recipes.com/thai_peppers.htm) but most sources list them as incredibly hot. I have found that the thai chillies are pretty mild when all of the seeds and webbing to the seeds is removed. Finely chopping them helps even out any heat left, and they have a great flavor. I couldn't find those this time so I just used one mild anaheimanaheim (http://www.awesome-chef-recipes.com/anaheim.htm) which left it only slightly less spicy.
