scratch that. i just did a google search. i'm not only incredibly creeped out, but also exceedingly sickened and angered.
this is about how i felt when my mother told me that one of my (great?) great-grandfathers was a high-ranking member in the hierarchy of the klu klux klan. that'd be about the time when they were actually doing the bulk of awful and wretched shit they did.
i remember stopping to vomit on the side of the road on the drive back to my place.
