It is a prohibition against mistaking the form, the veil of matter, for being the real thing that is. There is the truth, invisible, behind it. There is a way to seek it. There are many ways to seek this answer, this truth. Religions contain a seed of it. Philosophy contains a seed of it. Science contains a seed of it.
