windows ate my post indeed.
technically, it's the fault of the programmer who programs our software at work, he has his printing function all fux0red in this software. when we print a large amount of data, if go to another program, his program prints alright, but his popup window that indicates the print status, stays up. I can switch tasks, but his program locks. which sucks, now include the problem with winamp, which somehow, while playing my ogg cds(I'm not sure if mp3s have the same problem or if regular cds do either, but for sure the ogg discs have this problem) the whole system locks up when this happens, and I have to hard reset the system.

it was a long post on racism, and i was only half through it. *sigh*
I think maybe mozilla should implement a text-area buffer-flush plugin.
say, after a set amount of time, data can be written to a temp file in case something happens. this is really only a problem in windows AFAICT... But it is something that would be nice to have. maybe I'll request this feature?
