If we are involved in the process of concresence, the act of ingression of novelty into the matrix of material domain, then one more metaphor for the UFO is the Compact Disc.
The transduction of the ideal, as music, and transmitted through the power of light, etched(a TRUE photograph, writing with lasers) into the material matrix of circular disc substrate. The UFO is the "oversoul" of the species at the end of time, and the CD is the soul of man in the present. The eternal spinning disc streams sound backwards(the sonic boom of the eschaton), and some of the novelty coalesces as music. Depending on the angle you percieve the eschaton, just like a hologram, a different form of novelty arises. Each angle/aspect sends it's own stream of creation back into time.

Afro-futurism is the anticipation of the oversoul through funk, through sound, through music. The song by Parliament, "Funkentelechy", illustrates this point perfectly.
What is entelechy?

2 : a hypothetical agency not demonstrable by scientific methods that in some vitalist doctrines is considered an inherent regulating and directing force in the development and functioning of an organism "
This actualization of form-giving is precisely the condition of novelty theory and morophogenetic fields. The procession towards that goal, through the process, not of the morphogenetic fields, nor of time and matter aggregation, but of music. Of the organization of the principles of sound.
And sound, after all, is what language is made of. And language is what the cosmos is made of. Sound is the fundamental unit. And the transduction of sound into the material plane to become some thing(ie: the compact disc). But in the future, through the virtuality, through the psychedelic, through the process of hyperspace consciousness, the compact disc, is merely the shell of the music, in the same way that the body is merely the shell of the soul. The human soul shall extend itself into the transdimensional domain, and be perceived visually(as the ayahuasqueros perceive when the song of creation is sung, or the machine elves sing into existence the jeweled basketballs), as the soul extends beyond the body into this virtual-domain, and is perceived not as sound but as vision, so does the music escape the physical disc, and transmute into vision in the neocortex. Just as the soul of human, post-eschaton, arises and transmutes from language/sound into vision/being.

I heard today, Terence mentioned that the "self-dribbling jeweled basketballs" not only are sung into existence, but they, too, sing. This seems to me, that this process of creation is a feedback loop, that all creation itself is animate with life, novelty infuses itself in creation, in the creatED, and this might be an explanation for the exponential rise of novelty. All that is created creates it's own karmic force, it's own novelty wave which adds and feeds the larger wave. It sings it's own song.
