Famitsu Rates Zelda: The Wind Waker and Unlimited SaGa

Famitsu has rated two of the most anticipated games of the holiday season in its recent issue. Square's Unlimited SaGa received a silver award, by scoring 31/40. Unlimited SaGa will be released in Japan on December 19th.

Shigeru Miyamoto's recent creation The Legend of Zelda: Kaze no Takuto, on the other hand, received a perfect 40/40 score. Kaze no Takuto is already the second Zelda title to receive such an honor from Famitsu, following The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It is also only the fourth title in Famitsu's history to achieve a perfect score.

The Legend of Zelda: Kaze no Takuto (The Wind Waker in the US) will be released in Japan on December 13th.

oooh! Zelda: Kaze no Takuto is a gamecube game i take it? what sort of US release does that translate to?

I think Mar. 2003(if, of course, there's no delays)...
Also, they're going to include a port of Ocarina of Time in a special edition version, that also has the Ura update/expansion, which was supposed to go with the 64DD, now you can play it on the gamecube since the 64DD never came out. Sweet I say. :)

And yeah, that means that this sunday, after I get my xmas bonus from work, I'm gonna fork over some money to get the GC and Animal Crossing.

dude, i told you to get a gamecube months ago! athlon XP, be damned! but did you listen? no.... well actually, you did listen, since it was a poll, and i was the only person who voted against the athlon xp.

anyway, i bought a gamecube last summer, but i ve been in grad school since then, and my greedy twin has been playing it for 20 hrs a day since then. i m looking forward to playing metroid prime for my entire winter break, starting in about a week. and i guess i will play zelda for winter break 2003. man that is a long time from now...

anyway, thanks for the zelda pics. honestly, it looks kind of cartoonish and childish, but whatever. if it s the funnest game ever, who cares if it looks childish right? all of the mario installmenst look kiddish and they are solid games.

Dude, you need to get Metroid Prime too. SO DAMN GOOD. BTW, Zelda TWW goes on pre-order sale on Feb 16, which is when you can pick up OOT and Ura Zelda (when you preorder). TWW comes out March 24. From what I hear is Ura Zelda is just OOT w/ remixed dungeons (and a bit harder). Dunno if it's gonna be called Ura over here tho.

Definietly get Animal Crossing tho. Rosemary will be happy, and then we can visit each others town when you're home for xmas (when will you be home?). Perhaps I'll give ya a call this week to find out, maybe plan something.
