WooHoo!
i just completed my first honest to god graphics program. It's basically a really generic etch-a-sketch type program. It runs at this point, in 640x480(but I can make it go lower, and I'm going to try to see if it can go higher as well)... I plan on implementing a color change option for foreground and background, an intro screen, and a screen capture function(I believe it's built into the programming library I'm using)... The arrows move the cursor(kinda like that old tron cycles game), but I can say I had hella fun moving the thing around and making abstract images. When I get it more complete and into a build I'm more satisfied with, I'll post it for all to see(also I'll add the code, since I'm an open source kinda guy)
I can also see eventually making a LOGO out of it(remember the primitive graphics programming language? R90 F10, L 45, F05, etc... but that would take a lot of work. Most likely it would take text files as input, parse them and follow the commands. That's a long term project, and I'd have to look at logo again to see how it all worked(its been about 20 years since I've used it)
