Maybe it was suicide. The guy didn't have much of a life for himself, apparently. But, of course, I'm not sure he'll be able to get an unbiased autopsy. There has to be Scientologists all over that area.
Wouldn't surprise me either way, whether it's suicide or murder. I don't think we'll get any reliable answers, though.
